2008 Women's Soccer Roster

#5 Amanda Just

Position: Midfielder
Class: Freshman
Hometown: Andover, Kan.
Previous School: Andover

Bio: 2008-2009: Just played in all 20 games, starting 19 of them for OU. She led the Lady Braves in points (36), goals (16) and fourth on the team in assists (4). In the OU record books she is third all-time in career points (36), goals (16) and multi-goal games (3). Amanda earned her first career hat trick in OU’s 5-0 victory over Central Christian College (9/9). She scored her first career game winner versus previously unbeaten Bellevue University (9/14) and was a two-time KCAC Offensive Player of the Week selection. She scored a goal in five straight games; Central Christian, Bellevue, Avila Southwestern Assemblies of God and Northwood University.

High School: Just earned four letters in soccer, two in basketball and two in cross country for the Trojans. She helped her club team to three straight state appearances, playing in the championship game all three times. She helped her high school team to a fourth place finish in 2005 and a third place finish in 2006 in Kansas 5A State. Andover High was the only 4A team participating in the Kansas 5A State Tournament. She is a three-time all-league and all-region selection for the Trojans. Just also earned second team all-state honors and was awarded her team’s MVP award. For her high school career, Just scored 50 goals and dished out 48 assists.
