Grand Island, Neb. – The Victory Sports Network (VSN), founded in 2002 by National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Guru Jason Dannelly, has officially resumed operations again after a 20 month affiliation with the College Fanz Sports Network.

“We fully intend to continue promoting NAIA athletics at the highest level,” said Dannelly. “Our affiliation with College Fanz created many valuable partnerships. I will do everything in my power to make sure NAIA athletics are promoted to the fullest extent possible,” said Dannelly.

It is the intent of VSN to continue with its previous ventures of promotion of NAIA athletics including the “First Down Classic” preseason football game, the “Senior Classic” spring football all-star game, NAIA Preview the preseason magazine for NAIA basketball and football as well as live broadcasts of NAIA athletic events.

“There is a long, tough battle in front of VSN as my team with College Fanz did so much to help move us forward. But with the help of the great people working at NAIA institutions, the NAIA national office and the supporters of VSN, I feel like we can accomplish about anything.”

A full schedule of what the Victory Sports Network will be doing during the 2010-11 athletic season will be released in the coming weeks. The first event on the docket will be the “First Down Classic” on August 28th between Baker University and Ottawa University. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. CT in Ottawa, Kan.

About VSN:
The Victory Sports Network, the home for all things NAIA, was launched in July of 2002. It quickly became the leading voice for NAIA college sports through its web sites, print magazines, and syndicated radio broadcasts. In 2007, VSN launched the NAIA Senior Classic football game, a spring showcase for former NAIA student-athletes in front of fans and pro scouts. Later that year VSN introduced the First Down Classic, pitting two top-ranked NAIA teams in a season-opening gridiron battle. In November of 2008 VSN was acquired by the College Fanz Sports Network before ownership transferred back in July of 2010.
