OTTAWA, Kan. - Ottawa University’s football program has announced the signing of Carson Beavers to a letter of intent for the 2010-2011 school year. He is from Dallas, Texas and attends Berkner High School. 

Beavers, an offensive lineman, was a three year letterwinner in football, power lifting and track. He helped lead the Rams to the first round of District 4-5A Texas State Playoffs. Beavers earned second team all-district honors and was named academic all-district his senior season. In power lifting, Beavers finished first at an RISD competition.

Beavers is the son of Janet and Thomas Freeman and plans to major in business.
