OU Baseball Players Named to College Baseball's "Player's to Watch" List

Ottawa University pitchers, Gustavo Sanchez and Steve Marks have recently been named to the 2010 NAIA “Players to Watch” list by Collegiate Baseball.
Sanchez, a junior from Carabobo, Venezuela, is a transfer from Western Nebraska Community College. He had a record of 3-2 with 21 strikeouts his sophomore season. Sanchez earned Pitcher of the Year with the Eameralda team in Venezuela.
Marks, a junior from Newtown, Conn., is a transfer from Le Moyne College where he earned two letters for the Dolphins.
2010 “Players to Watch” list was chosen by NAIA baseball coaches across the country, and spotlights a select group of student-athletes at each position. The list is included in the January 8th issue of Collegiate Baseball, a newspaper that covers all levels of college baseball. A total of 301 athletes were listed.
