OTTAWA, Kan. - Ottawa University’s softball program has announced the signing of Lindsey Adams to a letter of intent for the upcoming school year. She is from Santa Clara, Utah and attended Snow Canyon High School.

Adams, a 5’0” third baseman, earned four letters in softball for the Warriors. She helped lead Snow Canyon to three state tournaments and helped the Warriors to a third place finish in 2005. Adams earned All-Region IX honors this past season and earned the Region IX MVP. This past season she hit .372 with nine doubles, two home runs and 17 RBI. She also walked 10 times, had an on base percentage of .602 and a fielding percentage of .930.

“We are very pleased that Lindsey has chosen to continue her softball career at Ottawa,” said OU head coach Jay Kahnt. “Lindsey comes from a great program and knows how to win. She will fit in nicely to our program.”

Adams is the daughter of Ray and Tammy Adams and plans to major in biology and physical education.
