OTTAWA, Kan. - Ottawa University’s football program has announced the signing of Josh Jagielo to a letter of intent for the upcoming school year. He is from Rockwall, Texas and attends Rockwall High School.

Jagielo, a 6’3” offensive lineman, earned four athletic letters for the Yellow Jackets, two for football and two for track. He helped his team to the 5A State Play-offs the last two years and was a starter on the offensive line. Jagielo earned second team all-district his junior and senior seasons and earned the team's Top Offensive Lineman award in 2007.

“Josh is an exciting offensive line prospect and at 6’3” and 295 pounds he is extremely strong. He played against some outstanding competition at Rockwall High School,” said OU head coach Kent Kessinger. “He has the ability to contribute to out offensive line right away.”

Jagielo is the son of Susie and Jeff Jagielo and plans to major in physical education.
