OTTAWA, Kan. - Ottawa University’s baseball program has announced the signing of Jeremiah Williams to a letter of intent for the 2010-2011 school year. He is from Hastings, Neb. and will be transferring from Cloud County Community College in the fall of 2010.

Team Gold has captured the Ottawa Braves Baseball Black and Gold Intersquad World Series Championship. Team Gold defeated Team Yellow by a score of 6-4 on Saturday Nov. 7 afternoon. Greg Wisner hit a 2-run HR to put Team Gold in the lead in bottom of the 6th inning. Team Gold went undefeated throughout the World Series (4-0-1). Team Yellow entered the Championship game as the #3 seed with a record of (2-1-0) beating Team White (2-0-1) on Saturday morning.

Chris Robertson (RFR – RHP) was named the MVP of the OU Braves Baseball Intersquad World Series. Robertson, a transfer from Maplewoods CC, pitched 2 complete games and made a relief appearance in the 4 games.

Today starts bracket play for intersquad world series. Team Gold is the #1 seed, Team White is the #2 seed, Team Yellow is the #3 seed, and Team Black is the #4 seed. Team Gold plays Team Black at 4:30pm and then Team White hosts Team Yellow on Sat at 11:00am with the Championship Game to be at 2:00pm Sat.
