2019-20: Haney was a member of the junior varsity team as a freshman.

High School: Haney lettered in basketball, football, baseball, and track for St. Paul High School. On the basketball court he earned First Team All-League. Haney was an All-League performer in football at receiver and defensive back. He was selected to play in the Neosho County All-Star Game.
